Plant Quarantine Information System (PQIS) Launched
Plant Quarantine Information System (PQIS) was launched by Shri P.K. Basu, Secretary, Department of Agriculture and Cooperation, Government of India, on 24th January 2011. PQIS will facilitate filing of online applications by exporters / importers for Phytosanitary Certificates (PSCs), Import Permits (IPs) and Import Release Orders (IROs) for all agricultural commodities and plant products.
